MASS - Sutton's God's Own Community, the brain child of - Jose Panicker, Shaji Mathew, Anson Koothur, Thomas Tharakan and Saiju George -combined with sincere efforts from some young blood of Saneesh, Sanoj, Joby to name a few - was instrumental in bringing the families and the youth of the Malayalee community together and form this close knit association.
We are one big growing family where every member young and old contribute in keeping it vibrant and enrich our cultural heritage. This is where we relive our sweet memories and our youngsters make their own.
It has grown from its humble beginning in 2009 with just a few families to almost 200+ families and counting. These families are not just from Sutton but from neighbouring places like Carshalton, Worcester Park, Cheam, Morden, Epsom and Banstead It organises various programmes in a year, highlight being the Onam, Christmas and New Year Events. More than a small gathering we tend to celebrate as a family coming together knowing the expectations of us as expatriate malayalees.
